Terry Lee Goffee The "Ultimate" Johnny Cash Tribute Artist
Enjoy a night in tribute to one of the greatest musical artists of all time, when Terry Lee Goffee brings to life the music of Jonny Cash.
"Itβs a pig show", with lots of audience participation. Lots of fun and laughter for children of all ages. A show where not only the kids, but Mom, Dad, Grandma and Granpa can be a part of the show.
Who will be the 2007 Fair Queen? Come to the pageant to see 6 local women from across the county compete for Miss Iroquois County. Brenna Crist is the 2006 winner. See More
The title says it all! For younger children to have some fun playing various games such as tossing cow pies. You never know what games will be played so be sure to show up!
4-H members compete with their trained dogs to see which dog has the best moves. These are not your ordinary pets, they are some amazingly trained dogs!
One of the fairs highlights, the Demolition Derby features dozens of cars from the area going head to head, bumper to bumper, until only the last one is left running.
See some of the most beautiful horses pulling themed hitches. Have a seat in the grandstands and enjoy some of the nation's best draft horses!
Watch some of the area's most talented young adults as they compete with their varying talents. They compete in two divisions, and provide an evening of great entertainment. See More
Join the fun when Ronald McDonald comes to visit the fair! He comes to entertain with games, tricks, and silly fun. Oh and did we mention he brings HUNDREDS of FREE prizes you can win!?
Another great Iroquois County Fair event is the Figure 8 Derby. It differs from the other derby by having the cars drive in a figure 8 around a tire, which ensures lots of crashing fun!
On Saturday and Sunday nights the 4-H Center is refitted to host a great dance open to teens! Its free and a DJ is there to play some great songs. Refreshments and pizza are provided.
Sunday marks a big day for tractor pulling! Cheer on drivers as they compete in different classes to pull the largest load the farthest.
Every year several area children get dressed up with their sheep to compete in the Sheep Lead. Contestants are judged on their costumes and leading ability, and are fun to watch!
The conclusion of the fair is the Livestock sale which the top animals are sold to the highest bidders. Its a great way for local businesses to support 4-H!
